Rob and Millie worked in the Island nation of New Zealand for a four month period in 2008. New Zealand is a beautiful country, and does have some Evangelistic presence. One of New Zealand’s greatest problems is the Gang activity that has increased in recent years which gangs such as “Mighty Mongrel Mob” and “Satan’s Slaves.” While in New Zealand RMIM made contact and worked with youth who were involved in such lifestyles. Not much Evangelstic presence exists for the youth of the country, and the majority are being seduced by violence and suicide. New Zealander’s or “Kiwi’s” as they are called tend to be cautious and cynical about the Gospel. New Zealand’s culture is much colder than that of somewhere like Latin America. RMIM does not have immediate plans of returning to New Zealand at the moment, however significant work was accomplished there including the planting of a small church.
