RMIM Nations Archive

Bolivia

Bolivia is the poorest country in South America, and is an increasingly difficult country to work in. Rob lived in Bolivia as a Missionary in 2006, and since then Rob has returned to Bolivia with Millie on their “Gospel Trafficking: Latin America” Missions project to begin establishing a ministry presence there. RMIM was able to take part in Gospel Crusades where many came to Christ. Bolivia is made up of many indigenous Indian groups, some of which have no understanding of Spanish. Among the indigenous peoples the most well known are the Quechua and the Aymara peoples. The great deception in Bolivia is that many believe that they are already saved, but the majority of Bolivians only have a small knowledge of Catholicism mixed with ancient Witchcraft and other new age beliefs. Rob and Millie completed the “Bless Bolivia” tour in 2009 in which they went from city to city feeding the poor and preaching the Gospel. Plans to return to Bolivia to equip the church and preach the Gospel are evident, however the time period is yet unknown.
